Thora birch

 Thora Birch (born March 11 in 1982) is an American producer and actress. She made her feature film debut in 1988, playing a lead role in Purple People Eater, for which she won a Young Artist Award for "Best Young Actress Under Nine Years of Age". Birch gained notoriety as a child star during the 1990s, with a series of notable roles in films such as Paradise, All I Want for Christmas (both 1991), Patriot Games (1992), Hocus Pocus (1993), Monkey Trouble (1994), Now and Then (1995) and Alaska (1996). She made her transition into adult roles in the latter part of that decade after she was awarded BAFTA for Best Supporting Actress for Jane Burnham's performance in American Beauty (1999).
