Heather Nauert

 

Heather Ann Nauert (born January 27, 1970) is an American broadcast journalist and former government official who was Spokesperson for the United States Department of State in the Donald Trump administration from 2017 until the year 2019. She was a senior associate of the Hudson Institute. It is a think tank that is conservative.



 



 Prior to becoming a member of the Department of State, Nauert was a Fox News reporter and news presenter for Fox & Friends. From March to October 2018, Nauert was as the acting Under Secretary for State for Public Diplomacy as well as Public Affairs and Diplomacy within the Trump administration. Nauert was named to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board in 2019 by Trump.
